About

What is MindFirst?

MindFirst is a digital first-aid kit for the mind. When a panic attack, dissociation or overstimulation hits, it guides you through short, calm, step-by-step protocols — grounding techniques like the 5-4-3-2-1 senses exercise and a slow breathing reset circle — until the moment passes or help is reached.

A persistent SOS button can call a trusted contact or helpline through the system dialer with one tap. Your personal safety plan — what has helped you before — is always readable, even mid-crisis, and works entirely offline.

MindFirst supplements professional care; it never replaces it. The app is explicit about that from the very first screen.

Key features

Built around what matters

Four guided protocols

Step-by-step support for panic attacks, dissociation, overstimulation and crisis feelings — written to be followed mid-moment.

Grounding & reset circle

The 5-4-3-2-1 senses technique, orientation prompts and an animated breathing circle bring you back to the here and now.

Always-visible SOS

A persistent SOS button calls your chosen contact or helpline through the system dialer — one tap, no menus.

Personal safety plan

Record what helps you when things get hard, and read it back in a calm, distraction-free view during a crisis.

Trusted contacts

Save the people you can lean on. Calling them works offline — no account, no server in between.

Designed for hard moments

Big targets, soft colors, short sentences — an interface built for when concentration is at its lowest.
