Per-app FAQ

Each app has its own detailed FAQ on its page.

General questions

Who is behind these apps?

Amsterdam Future Labs is a small independent studio in Amsterdam, run by Pieter Thurkow. Every app is designed and developed in-house.

Are the apps free?

Most apps are free to download and use. Some offer an optional Pro upgrade — a fair one-time purchase or simple subscription, always clearly communicated and never required for core functionality.

Do the apps work offline?

Yes. Every app is built offline-first: recipes, breathing sessions, puzzles and timers all work without an internet connection.

Is my data stored or shared?

No. Our apps store everything locally on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking SDKs. Deleting an app deletes its data.

Are there ads?

Most apps are completely ad-free. Kamado Companion is free and ad-supported — clearly disclosed on its page and in its privacy policy.

Do I need an account?

Never. None of our apps require sign-up, login or any personal details.

Which devices are supported?

All apps are designed for iPhone and require iOS 17 or later (Meal Planner requires iOS 26). Several are localized in English and Dutch, following your iOS language setting.

How do I get support?

Email support@amsterdamfuturelabs.com for any app. We read every message and aim to reply within two business days.

How do refunds work?

Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds go through Apple as well: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in and select the purchase. Apple handles the request directly.
