What is Kamado Companion?
Kamado Companion is built for ceramic grill cooking — Kamado Joe, Big Green Egg, The Bastard or any other kamado. Every one of its 65+ recipes is written specifically for the kamado, with dome and core temperatures in Celsius, European measurements and honest, step-by-step instructions.
The BBQ planner works backwards from the moment you want to eat: it calculates when to start prepping, when to light the kamado and when the food goes on — and reminds you at fire-up time. Up to four named cook timers keep running even when the app is closed.
A searchable temperature guide covers 35+ cuts, a private cook diary lets you photograph and rate your own creations, and a smart shopping list groups ingredients by supermarket aisle. All of it works fully offline, in English and Dutch.
The app is free to use — every recipe, the temperature guide, timers, favorites and the shopping list are included. A Pro upgrade adds the BBQ planner and your personal cook diary, with a free trial on the yearly plan and a one-time lifetime option for anyone who prefers to pay once.
