Privacy Policy
How the Camo Tracker for BO2 iOS app handles your data. Effective July 16, 2026.
Summary
Camo Tracker for BO2 stores your tracking progress on your device and nowhere else. We — Amsterdam Future Labs — do not operate servers for this app, do not require an account, and do not use analytics. The free version shows advertising served by Google AdMob, which involves limited data processing by Google as described below. A one-time in-app purchase removes all advertising, and with it all ad-related data processing.
Data stored on your device
Your camo and challenge progress, theme and language preferences are saved locally on your device. This data never leaves your device, is not visible to us, and is deleted completely when you delete the app.
Advertising (free version)
The free version of the app shows banner and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. To serve ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, Google may collect and process data from your device, including:
- Device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier, where you have permitted this)
- IP address and coarse, non-precise location derived from it
- Ad interaction data (which ads were shown, viewed or tapped)
- General device information (model, operating system version, language)
We do not receive or store any of this data ourselves. How Google uses this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
Before any ads are loaded, iOS asks for your permission to track via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow tracking, Google AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) to show ads that are more relevant to you and to measure ad performance across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline, the app works exactly the same and simply shows non-personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Your consent choices (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before any advertising is loaded, using Google’s consent framework. You can choose not to receive personalised advertising — the app then shows non-personalised ads instead. You can review or change your choice at any time via Profile → Ad preferences inside the app. Users in certain US states are shown a similar privacy choice.
Removing ads
The one-time “Remove ads” purchase permanently disables all advertising, including the advertising data processing described above. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive your name, payment details or any other personal information. The purchase can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.
What we do not do
- No accounts, sign-ups or passwords
- No analytics or usage tracking by us
- No servers of ours receiving your data
- No selling or sharing of personal data by us
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s data practices change — for example in a future update — we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
